Arizona's Caleb Love Declares for 2024 NBA Draft
Arizona guard Caleb Love announced on Tuesday in a social media post that he is declaring for the 2024 NBA draft.
The senior is coming off one season with the Wildcats after playing three years at North Carolina. He will maintain his NCAA eligibility as he could have one year left in college due to COVID-19 considerations.
"I've taken some much needed time with my family to think about what's next for me and I've decided to enter the 2024 NBA draft while maintaining my eligibility," Love wrote. "Thank you Wildcat Nation and Arizona community for showing me so much love. You will always hold a special place in my heart."
Love averaged career-highs of 18 points and 4.8 rebounds per game with Arizona this past season. His college career potentially ended in the 2024 NCAA tournament, which Arizona entered as the No. 2 seed in the West Region. The Wildcats lost to Clemson in the Sweet 16, which is the same round Love's former Tar Heels lost in as well.
The guard is projected to be a second round pick in the draft, which will begin on June 26.
