North Carolina star forward Harrison Ingram will forgo his final season of eligibility and declare for the 2024 NBA draft, he announced on social media on Saturday.

"I would like to thank my family and God for their sacrifices and support throughout my life," Ingram wrote. "To Coach Davis and the rest of the coaching staff, I want to thank you for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to play and represent the University of North Carolina. ... I'm proud to say I'm a Tar Heel for life!"

Ingram was instrumental in guiding the Tar Heels to the Sweet 16 this past season, averaging 12.2 points and 8.8 rebounds per game on 43.0% shooting from the floor and 38.5% shooting from three in his lone campaign in Chapel Hill. He spent the first two seasons at Stanford, where he averaged 10.5 points and 6.2 rebounds for the Cardinal.

The 6' 8" Ingram is an intriguing prospect at the next level due to his defensive prowess and his improving versatility offensively. He's a high motor player that should be a good fit wherever he lands in June's draft.
