The Alabama Crimson Tide football program wrapped up its spring practice period on Saturday with its annual A-Day scrimmage. The Crimson Tide had a strong spring season under new head coach Kalen DeBoer and will now look to continue the momentum into the summer and fall. One way to keep the momentum growing is by making progress on the recruiting trail.

On Saturday, moments after the Crimson Tide concluded its spring game Lotzier Brooks told On3 Sports he committed to DeBoer and the Alabama program.

Brooks is a 3-star wide receiver out of Millville High School in Millville, N.J. He's listed at 5-foot-9, 170-pounds and is considered the No. 14 overall player in New Jersey by the 247Sports Composite. The rising senior becomes the second wide receiver in Alabama's Class of 2025, joining Derick Smith out of Southside Selma.

The Crimson Tide now has nine commits in the Class of 2025 and its class is considered the No. 8 overall in the cyle and has the third best class in the Southeastern Conference behind LSU and Oklahoma.

Brooks chose Alabama over offers from Kentucky and Tennesee and told On3 Sports that it was his connection with new receivers coach JaMarcus Shephard that made him feel comfortable enough to commit to the Crimson Tide.

As a junior, he caught 61 passes for 1,295 yards and 22 touchdowns while adding 32 tackles and six more scores on defense. He already holds the South Jersey career receiving yards record with 3,355 yards and touchdown receptions with 51 and still has another season to put the records out of reach.
