In this story:

The No. 8 Alabama Crimson Tide head to Lexington, Ky., to try to stay unbeaten in the SEC and clinch the SEC West division championship.

The Crimson Tide struggled in its last game at 11 a.m. against inferior competition, a 24-21 win over Arkansas at home, so they'll be looking for a better showing this weekend.

"The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCentral" welcomes Aaron Gershon of TheCatsPause, a 247Sports affiliate, into the program to tell us about Mark Stoops and the Wildcats.

Kentucky opened the year on a 5-0 winning streak but then hit a three-game skid against Georgia, Missouri and Tennessee. The Wildcats got back to winning last week by defeating Mississippi State on the road.

Gershon lets us know just how Stoops and his squad can keep it close on Saturday and tells us if Georgia is as good as they have been each of the last two seasons.

Gershon tells us about Devin Leary and his transition to the SEC and lets us know some of the reasons the 'Cats have struggled this season.

We then turn our attention to CowbellCorner and welcome on Kensi Brandenburg to talk about the Bulldogs. State lost to Kentucky last weekend and only has one SEC-win the season over Arkansas.

We'll be stretching content across the Southeastern Conference in the weeks ahead as basketball season begins with Alabama, Missississippi State and Missouri content in the future.
