Alabama Baseball continues to dominate its midweek opponents this season.

The Crimson Tide (20-6, 2-4 SEC) defeated Middle Tennessee State 10-4 on Tuesday night at Toyota Field in Madison, Ala.

Alabama is now 8-0 in midweek games this season — something it struggled with last year.

"The atmosphere here tonight was awesome, it was electric," head coach Brad Bohannon said. "The place was packed, and the Trash Pandas put on an absolute first-class event. This was an awesome experience for our kids, and we cannot get back soon enough. I want to thank everyone involved with getting us up here and the 'Bama fans for showing out and supporting us tonight."

The Crimson Tide recorded a whopping 13 hits on the night, led by Andrew Pinckney and Tommy Seidl — who each went 3-for-4. Pinckney homered in the sixth.

Jim Jarvis and Ed Johnson both had two hits as well.

Alabama trailed 4-0 before immediately responding with four runs of its own in the bottom of the fourth. The Crimson Tide then added six more — including five in the bottom of the eighth.

RHP Jacob McNairy has been recently demoted from his spot as a weekend starter — and the struggles continued on Tuesday night. After a perfect three innings with six strikeouts, McNairy surrendered four runs on six hits in the fourth inning.

Alabama went 6-for-18 (.333) with runners on base.

The Crimson Tide's SEC schedule doesn't get any easier this weekend. After losing series to both No. 3 Florida and No. 18 Kentucky, Alabama will have to travel to Fayetteville to take on No. 6 Arkansas this weekend.

Friday's first pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. CT before back-to-back 2 p.m. CT start times on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday's game will be on the SEC Network.
