TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — If you didn't already have plans for this weekend while Alabama baseball was scheduled to travel to Malibu, Calif. to play at Pepperdine, your calendar is about to fill up.

Due to inclement weather that is slated to take place this weekend in Malibu, the Crimson Tide's three-game series against the Waves has been canceled. In place of the series, Alabama will instead now face the High Point Panthers in an alternate three-game series at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.

The first game of the series will take place on Friday, Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. CT. Game 2 will take place on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. while Game 3 is scheduled for a 1 p.m. first pitch on Sunday, Feb. 26.

While none of the three games will be broadcast on a television network due to the series' late scheduling, the trio of games will be broadcast on the Crimson Tide Sports Network.

According to a press release issued by Alabama Athletics, High Point originally had a tournament scheduled to take place this weekend in Riverside, Calif.. However, the tournament was also canceled due to the scheduled weather, and the Panthers opted to instead travel to Tuscaloosa.

All Alabama premium seat season-ticket holders will receive tickets loaded onto their account for all three games. All non-premium seating is general admission.
