After a narrow overtime win over Auburn and a loss on the road at Texas A&M, Alabama basketball slipped two spots to No. 4 in the latest AP Top 25 and three spots down to No. 5 in the USA Today Sports Coaches Poll.

The Crimson Tide is now behind No. 1 Houston, No.2 UCLA and No. 3 Kansas in the AP Top 25. However, Alabama is still poised to be a 1-seed in the NCAA Tournament should it perform well at the SEC Tournament this coming weekend.

Around the rest of the Southeastern Conference in the AP Top 25, Tennessee is the next team up all the way down at No. 17. Texas A&M sits right behind the Volunteers at No. 18, while Kentucky is No. 23. Missouri managed to find its way into the Top 25 this week, coming in at No. 25.

Vanderbilt received three voting points while Arkansas received two, with neither being enough to place either team in the Top 25.

In the Coaches Poll, Texas A&M is the next ranked team at No. 18, with Tennessee coming in right behind at No. 19. Kentucky is the last ranked team at No. 24.

Missouri received 18 voting points while Vanderbilt received two.
