Another spring transfer portal entrant has found a new home.

Former Alabama defensive back Tre'Quon Fegans, who entered the transfer portal on April 19, committed to play for the USC Trojans Sunday afternoon.

Fegans is the second defensive player to transfer to USC from Alabama in the last few seasons, joining linebacker Shane Lee.

One of the top players in the state of Alabama in the class of 2022 as a unanimous four-star product out of Thompson High School in Alabaster, Fegans redshirted in his first season with the Crimson Tide and did not appear in any games. The defensive back entered the portal before A-Day, so he did not appear in the spring game either.

He will have four years of eligibility remaining at USC.

His younger brother, Anquon, one of Alabama's targets in the class of 2025, committed to USC later in the day.

The Crimson Tide currently has 15 scholarship defensive backs on the roster, but that number includes freshman Tony Mitchell, who's status with the team is unclear after an arrest and subsequent suspension from the team for marijuana possession.

Fegans is one of three Alabama scholarship players who entered the portal during the spring window from April 15 to April 30 alongside fellow defensive back Jahquez Robinson and tight end Elijah Brown. Robinson recently committed to Colorado.

Alabama has added one player from the portal in that time, Notre Dame quarterback Tyler Buchner.

Since the 2022 season ended in the Sugar Bowl, 17 Crimson Tide players have entered the transfer portal with almost all of them already finding new homes.
