After being limited during training camp by a hand injury, and beginning the season on the injured list, former Alabama running back Damien Harris had a grand season debut last week.

Making his first career start against the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, Harris notched his first 100-yard rushing game for New England, with 100 on 17 carries. With quarterback Cam Newton out, he was arguably the Patriots' biggest bright spot offensively.

The question now is where do the Patriots go from here with their rushing game, both long-term and with this week's game against the Denver Broncos?

There's Harris.

Sony Michel is on injured reserve and will be out at least two more games.

James White had 59 scrimmage yards (38 receiving, 21 rushing) and team-high seven catches during Week 4. Since 2016, he leads all running backs in receiving touchdowns (20) and ranks second in catches (285) & receiving yards (2,444).

Pus, Rex Burkhead has had 50-plus scrimmage yards in three straight games, but three touchdowns (two rushing and one receiving) over his past two.

Fantasy owners hate the running back-by-committee approaches and to a certain extent this will be one, regardless. But the more starts he makes, and the more success he has, Harris will become only tougher to dislodge.

As for what should fantasy players do with Mark Ingram II and Harris, Sports Illustrated’s fantasy football analyst Michael Fabiano has some suggestions on who to start or sit. In the attached video Fabiano he also talks about starting Bears rusher David Montgomery and Vikings backup Alexander Mattison.
