How to Watch: No. 7 Alabama Gymnastics at No. 14 Auburn

The Crimson Tide and Tigers meet for the second time, this time in a dual meet at Auburn inside Neville Arena.

Ashley Johnston has a unique perspective on the Alabama vs. Auburn gymnastics rivalry. She competed in it as a gymnast with the Crimson Tide. She coached in it as an assistant at Auburn, and now enters her second matchup against the Tigers as Alabama's head coach this Friday.

"We're looking forward to a big rivalry matchup this week," Johnston said. "Our team has done a really good job from week to week. I think we started really strong in the month of January, had a bit of a hiccup last week and now are faced with a decision of what's it going to take to close that gap from good to great? Everything I've seen this week, our team is really building and eager and hungry to really turn a corner and capitalize on what they've been working on, so I expect it to be a really great matchup."

The Tigers haven't won an SEC meet this season will be hungry for a win at home in front of the soldout crowd at Neville Arena while Alabama will be looking to rebound from its worst meet of the season.
