Live Updates: Alabama Gymnastics in Norman Regional Semifinal

The No. 8 Crimson Tide competing against No. 9 Kentucky, Illinois and Iowa, with top two teams advancing to Saturday's Regional Finals

The eighth-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide will open the NCAA championships as the top team in the Norma Regional afternoon semifinal. the quad-meet format will also include No. 9 Kentucky, Illinois and Iowa, with the top two teams advancing. 

The  evening semifinal will feature the No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 16 Ohio State, Arkansas and North Carolina State at 7 p.m. CT.

The regional final will be 5 p.m., Saturday, with again the top two teams advancing.

Alabama has advanced to the NCAA Regionals every year since the beginning of the format in 1982, with the exception of the 2020 season where the postseason was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Crimson Tide has won an NCAA-record 32 regional team titles
