Despite the Alabama football team's 26-20 win over the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday, the Crimson Tide athletic programs aren't done facing off with Texas A&M this weekend.

One match after a key conference rivalry win, the No. 17 Alabama soccer team (8-2-4) has a scheduled contest with the Aggies. Like every SEC team during the 2022 regular season, Texas A&M didn't have much luck against the Crimson Tide in 2022.

The Aggies (6-5-2) had a rough outing against Vanderbilt on Thursday, the same day Alabama beat Auburn. In that match, Texas A&M surrendered six goals to a Commodores team that the Crimson Tide shut out. Sandwiched between that result and a 1-0 loss to Arkansas on Sept. 24 is a win against Ole Miss, one of two league victories on the Aggies' ledger.

The Crimson Tide got a badly needed win against the Tigers, scoring both early and late en route to the crucial rivalry triumph. Nadia Ramadan and Felicia Knox contributed in one of the midfield's strongest showings to date. Alabama has not replicated its success in conference play from last season, however, dropping both conference road games on the slate prior to this weekend. Like many teams, the Aggies want revenge against Alabama for 2022's convincing loss in Tuscaloosa.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CT. The winner gets a leg up in the standings, as the squads possess the same league record, much like Alabama and Auburn did prior to that meeting.
