SEC Football Silly Sound Montage: Week 1

Some of the SEC coaches sounded hungry, some of them sounded kind of satisfied, but they all came across as being a little silly in our Week 1 montage.

Football coaches are some of the most programmed and routine-oriented beings on the face of the planet. That's what makes many of them so successful, but it's also what makes them easy to mess with.

Welcome to the first edition of SEC Football Silly Sound Montage!

Every week BamaCentral will pick through the postgame press conferences of the winners and losers in the Southeastern Conference and build a montage of the meaningless, the nonsensical and even the off-the-wall comments made by the league head coaches.

Cliché's and commonalities are celebrated here as all the coaches speak the same language, whether it's celebrating the crowd, loving their own players, getting back to work quickly or acknowledging that their team has room for improvement.

Which SEC coaches sounded like they needed a snack this week? Two of our stars had food on the brain in this week's episode and one made sure that a Coke bottle is not a crystal ball.

Some coaches struggled with their team's identity, some were happy with big leads and all of them have high standards for themselves.

The head coaching stars on the initial episode are Ole Miss's Lane Kiffin, South Carolina's Shane Beamer, Auburn's Hugh Freeze, Alabama's Nick Saban, LSU's Brian Kelly, Texas A&M's Jimbo Fisher, Florida's Billy Napier and Georgia's Kirby Smart.

We'll go back to the drawing board this week, review the tape and continue to get better and we'll have you covered with more silly sound as the SEC moves on into Week 2.

The long version is attached at the top of the page, but there's also a short version:
