A week after a 9-0 win against Jackson State, the Alabama Crimson Tide will take on the University of Portland in the second round of the NCAA women's soccer tournament.

Wes Hart and the Tide will look to continue defending home-field, as Alabama, being a top seed in the tournament, will host the Pilots at Alabama Soccer Stadium in Tuscaloosa. Portland advanced to the second round after defeating Arizona State 3-0 in its tournament opener.

If Alabama defeats Portland, it won't have to wait to find out its opponent for the next round as the Tide will play the winner of Brown and UC Irvine, who will take the field in Tuscaloosa as the first of a Friday doubleheader.
