Alabama's starting center Charles Bediako has suffered a knee injury, Alabama men's basketball Nate Oats stated in Tuesday's press conference.

He's considered day-to-day.

Bediako has started all 25 games for Alabama this season, and is fifth in the SEC with 1.6 blocks per game.

Oats said that the injury occurred during the Crimson Tide's win against Auburn. Bediako still played 28 minutes against the Tigers, where he finished with six points, five rebounds and two blocks.

"He's gotten better every day since the Auburn game," Oats said. "We'll see where he's at tomorrow on game day."

If Bediako is limited next game, Noah Clowney and Nick Pringle may see extended minutes at the center position. Oats also mentioned that Brandon Miller, who is 6 foot 9, could also see minutes at the 4 spot, while adding the possibility of starting Noah Gurley, whose minutes have decreased over the last few games, if Bediako is unable to play.

Alabama's next game will be against Tennessee on the road on Wednesday, followed by a Saturday afternoon game against Georgia inside Coleman Coliseum. Tipoff for Wednesday's game is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT on ESPN2 or ESPNU. Saturday's game will tipoff at 5 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
