The Extra Point: The X-Factor for Super Bowl Sunday

Which Crimson Tide product needs to have a career-defining game?
In this story:

As Super Bowl Sunday is a few yards away, we can speculate that this matchup between two powerhouses should be one that we'll never forget. In years passed, the big game has seen lesser-known players make plays that the world has not forgotten.

NFL MVP candidate Jalen Hurts will be the main attraction for the roughly 100 million viewers on Sunday. The Eagles quarterback has been nothing but sensational this season and he hopes to finish his historic run by holding the Lombardi Trophy.

This can't be done unless the Eagles extremely talented offensive line plays well against the Chiefs strong front seven. Three Pro Bowlers, including Landon Dickerson are in charge of protecting Hurts.

Dickerson has allowed just one sack on 1,094 snaps in his second season in the NFL. However, he will have to occasionally go to war with Chiefs defensive tackle and defensive player of the year candidate Chris Jones.

Jones finished the regular season with the fourth-most sacks (15.5) and seventh-most tackles for loss (17) in the NFL.

If Dickerson and the rest of the offensive line can shutdown Jones, then Hurts could have a career-defining game, leading to a parade in Philadelphia.
