The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCentral: Episode 2, May 23, 2023

Joe Gaither dives into the latest Crimson headlines with BamaCentral's Austin Hannon and Will Miller. How deep can the Tide go in Hoover?
Alabama Athletics

The Tuesday edition of The Joe Gaither Show consisted of a roundtable discussion between Joe Gaither, Austin Cannon and Will Miller.

The trio discuss the SEC Baseball Tournament that has started in Hoover this week. Alabama has decided to start Hunter Furtado on the rubber against Kentucky, can the Tide's bullpen see Alabama advance into the double-elimination bracket?

The Tide enters the week ranked No. 24 by D1baseball and is currently projected to host postseason baseball at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. Hannon and Miller inform listeners exactly what Alabama needs to do this week to host its first regional since 2006.

The Alabama football program may be in the midst of its offseason, but head coach Nick Saban never rests. He spent time on Tuesday raising money at the Nick's Kids Golf Tournament at Old Overton Club in Birmingham, Ala.

Saban detailed his summer vacation to Rome, dodged a quarterback question and even taught Koolaid McKistry how to swing a golf club.

Who would you rather get a golf lesson from? Saban, Alabama golf coach Jay Seawell or two-time major winner Justin Thomas?

Finally, the trio landed on the Bama basketball program. Alabama center Charles Bediako made his intentions known on Monday night to stay in the NBA draft.

How will Alabama head coach Nate Oats respond? Is Nick Pringle going to be enough for the Tide down low?
