What a week it's been for the Alabama Crimson Tide football program. We try to contextualize everything on the Friday edition of "The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCentral".

We start by discussing Justice Haynes one more time from Monday night. His performance sparked the Alabama offense in the second half but offensive coordinator Tommy Rees stopped using him. Why?

The program rehashes Alabama's snapping issues as we highlight why Seth McLaughlin was likely the Tide's best option all year long. What could the offense have done to help McLaughlin with his snapping issues?

Next we move into the transition phase of the offseason. There are currently 16 Alabama football players in the transfer portal. Let's discuss each one of them as we try to determine the impact of their departure.

We highlight a wide receiver and an offensive lineman who may be leaving, but would have likely contributed to the Crimson Tide's 2024 season.

The program continues by talking about the players who have made NFL draft decision. How high will some of these guys be drafted? Is it a good decision to leave the Capstone for the league for them and how did this season impact how they're seen by NFL scouts?

We finish up by highlighting the weekend to come as the Tide is expecting some good news on the recruiting front and the basketball team opens up Southeastern Conference play against Vanderbilt on Saturday.
