Which Iron Bowl Wins Have Been the Most Memorable? The Extra Point

Auburn seems to be on the winning end of a lot of memorable Iron Bowls as of late, but which Alabama wins stick out the most?
In this story:

The Iron Bowl is and has always been one of the best and fiercest rivalries in all of college football, and the 88th edition is set to kick off on Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Thinking back on the rivalry in the past decade-plus, it's been more even than you would expect despite Nick Saban, one of the greatest coaches of all time, patrolling the Alabama sideline for 16 years.

Obviously, there's the Kick Six of 2013, which Auburn will be celebrating the 10-year anniversary of this weekend at the game. Auburn also won a thriller in 2019, where Alabama doinked a field goal in the final minutes that would have tied the game.

But which wins on the Alabama side have been the most memorable?

You mind probably first goes to two years ago in Jordan-Hare Stadium, where Alabama won a four-overtime slugfest after trailing 10-0 until well into the fourth quarter.

Another, possibly more underrated edition of the rivalry came in 2014. The year after the Kick Six and a return to Bryant-Denny Stadium, the game featured the highest point total ever in an Iron Bowl, with Alabama winning 55-44.

Crimson Tide wide receiver Amari Cooper and Auburn wide receiver Sammie Coates traded blows in the shootout, both posting career days, and Alabama erased a 12-point deficit to win.

Will this weekend's game feature another down-to-the-wire result? Only time will tell.
