Another former Alabama player is getting paid as Dalvin Tomlinson will leave the Minnesota Vikings to join the Cleveland Browns. It was first reported by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Tomlinson's new deal is for four years and $57 million, with $27.5 million guaranteed.

The defensive tackle has spent the last two years in Minnesota, where he finished with 2.5 sacks each season. The Browns spent last season near the bottom of the league with 34 sacks. Myles Garrett had 16 of those, good enough for second in the NFL behind San Franciso's Nick Bosa with 18.5.

However, sack production fell off a cliff; the next-highest on the team was Taven Bryan with 3 and Deion Jones with 2.5. The hope is that Tomlinson will bolster the defense around Garrett and increase production.

Depending on how much Tomlinson makes per year, the $14.25 million annual salary would be the second-most he's made in a season, trailing only the $16.million he made in 2021 in Minnesota.
