Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos Agree to Terms on Rookie Contract
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, former University of Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and the Denver Broncos have reached an agreement on his rookie contract.
The former Crimson Tide star will receive a fully-guaranteed $15.192 million deal over four years plus a $8.61 million signing bonus, in which he will get 71 percent of that bonus immediately upon signing.
Jeudy was selected with the 15th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft last April. When he and Henry Ruggs III (12th - Las Vegas Raiders) were chosen in the opening round, it was the first time two wide receivers from Alabama had been selected together in the first 32 picks.
For comparison, Ruggs agreed to a $16.67 million deal on Tuesday that includes a fifth-year option and is fully guaranteed.
During his three-year career at the Capstone, he caught 159 passes for 2,742 yards and 26 touchdowns. His sophomore season that included 1,315 receiving yards and 68 catches on his way to winning the 2018 Fred Blietnikoff Award honoring the nation's top wide out.
He joins former teammates, Tua Tagovailoa (Dolphins), Raekwon Davis (Dolphins), Anfernee Jennings (Patriots), Jedrick Wills (Browns), Jalen Hurts (Eagles), and Ruggs as the only Crimson Tide players to officially agree to terms and sign yet. Xavier McKinney (Giants), and Terrell Lewis (Rams) have yet to sign on the dotted line.
