- $21M per year
- Contract makes him highest-paid guard in NFL history. He was in the last year of his deal.
The 37th overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft showed a lot of promise in his rookie season, despite switching from his collegiate center position to left guard. Dickerson truly broke out during his sophomore campaign as he was named to the Pro Bowl and accomplished the remarkable feat once again this past season.
Arriving at Alabama as a graduate transfer from Florida State prior to the 2019 season, Dickerson started all but one game for the Crimson Tide in his two seasons with the program.
Dickerson, the 2020 Rimington Trophy winner for the nation's top center, was a unanimous First Team All-American in 2020, as well as a finalist for the Outland Trophy, given to the nation's top interior lineman.
He was a significant piece of the Crimson Tide's offense on its way to winning the 2021 College Football Playoff National Championship last season, before suffering a torn ACL ligament in the SEC Championship to Florida in December 2020.
The Eagles have made a lot of changes since the offseason started, but one that wasn't in their control was the retirement of long-time center Jason Kelce. Cam Jurgens will likely be his replacement, but even though Dickerson's thriving at guard, his accomplishments at center with the Crimson Tide might give Philadelphia's front office and coaches something to think about.
