Three Alabama Players Invited to Attend 2023 NFL Draft

Alabama's first-round hopefuls Bryce Young, Will Anderson Jr. and Brian Branch will all be in attendance at the draft in Kansas City.

Forty-one different Crimson Tide players have heard their names called in the first round of the NFL draft since Nick Saban arrived at Alabama, and that number will grow in a few weeks.

Will Anderson Jr., Brian Branch and Bryce Young are all projected to go in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, and all three were invited to attend the draft in-person in Kansas City, Missouri on April 27.

Alabama had more invitees than any other school. Crimson Tide players make up three of the 17 draftees invited to Kansas City. And on that Thursday night, Young hopes to accomplish something that has never happened in the Saban era. Despite all his success in the NFL draft, Saban has never had a player selected No. 1 overall, and Young is the odds-on favorite to go in that spot to the Carolina Panthers.

Last season, Alabama had two players selected in the first round.

Overall, there are 14 players from last year's Crimson Tide team that have their name entered in the 2023 NFL Draft. Outside of the three projected first-round picks, Jahmyr Gibbs, Jordan Battle, Eli Ricks, Henry To'oTo'o, Byron Young, Tyler Steen, Emil Ekiyor Jr., DJ Dale, Cameron Latu, Demarcco Hellams and Jaylen Moody will all hope to hear their names called over the three-day draft.
