Former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa enters his fourth year in the National Football League and expectations are sky high. The Miami Dolphins exercised its fifth-year option on Tagovailoa this past spring as his play took an indisputable leap forward under first-year head coach Mike McDaniel.

Tagovailoa and McDaniel prepare for year two together and have arguably some of the best weapons in the NFL in Jaylen Waddle, Tyreke Hill and a bevy of running backs at their disposal.

On Wednesday after completing a practice session the Dolphins starting quarterback met with the media and issued a challenge to reporters in order to illustrate the complicated nature of McDaniel's system.

Tagovailoa rattled off a 12-word play call and asked the media to repeat it back to him.

"Northwright Clamp South Fox H Top Pass 38 Top Gumby XP Sweat," said the former Crimson Tide star.

Needless to say, the reporters failed the challenge miserably, leading to Tagovailoa poking fun at the media contingent.

The Miami Dolphins lost their initial preseason matchup against the Atlanta Falcons this past Saturday but opted to hold Tagovailoa and the rest of the starters out in favor of evaluating the bottom-end of the roster.

Tagovailoa, Waddle, and Raekwon Davis will likely make their preseason debut this coming Saturday against the Houston Texans at 3 p.m.
