Alabama Baseball Finishes No. 10 in Final D1Baseball Top-25
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — What a season it was for Alabama baseball.
The Crimson Tide's 43 wins on the season were the most for the program since 2006. Alabama pitchers struck out 593 opposing batters during the 2023 season — the most in program history.
The Crimson Tide hosted an NCAA regional in Tuscaloosa for the first time since 2006 — and went 3-0 against Nicholls, Troy and Boston College to advance to the super regionals for the first time in 13 years.
To cap off what was an impressive year for the program, there was one more shiny accolade — a top-10 ranking to finish the season.
D1Baseball had Alabama in the No. 10 spot to finish the season after LSU won the College World Series on Monday night against fellow SEC opponent Florida.
The Crimson Tide baseball program joined the football and men's basketball programs — which both finished in the top-10 as well for their respective sports.
Alabama hired Rob Vaughn as its new head coach on June 12.
