Alabama Basketball SEC Dates Released, Full 2023-2024 Schedule Finalized
With Alabama's non-conference slate released last month, the full schedule is now set with the Southeastern Conference announcing the dates for conference matchups Thursday afternoon.
The defending SEC champions open play at Vanderbilt on Jan. 6 and wrap up the conference schedule March 9 with a home game against Arkansas.
Both rivalry matchups with Auburn are midweek games. The Tigers first come to Tuscaloosa on Wednesday, Jan. 24, and Alabama will make the return trip on Feb. 7. Alabama will make the trip up to Rupp Arena on Saturday, Feb. 24 for its lone regular season matchup with the Kentucky Wildcats.
Alabama won the SEC regular season championship a season ago, only losing two conference games to Tennessee and Texas A&M. The Crimson Tide would go on to avenge the loss to the Aggies in the SEC Tournament title game to claim Nate Oats' second tournament title in the last three seasons.
Both of the losses last season were on the road, and Alabama will return to Thompson-Boling Arena this season in late January and then host the Volunteers the first weekend in March. Texas A&M will come to Coleman Coliseum on Feb. 17.
The opponents and locations were already known, but this finalized the dates. Game times and TV information will be released at a later date.
