BamaCentral Courtside: No. 14 Alabama 103, Ole Miss 88

Final thoughts from the BamaCentral crew from SJB Pavilion after Alabama's comeback win.
In this story:

OXFORD, Miss. — Alabama basketball rallied, and then it pulled away.

The 14th-ranked Crimson Tide trailed by as many as 14 in the first half before flipping a switch and finding itself, beating Ole Miss on the road 103-88 to move to 12-3 in SEC play on the season.

Alabama found its stride with five minutes to go in the first half. It closed the half on a 16-5 run, then opened the second half on a 15-7 run. It took its newly gained lead and held the Rebels at arm's length the rest of the game.

Mark Sears led the team in scoring once again with 26, but two other guards stole the show. Aaron Estrada posted the first triple double by an Alabama player since Kira Lewis in 2020, scoring 18 points and adding 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Davin Cosby got significantly more minutes in the absence of Latrell Wrightsell, who missed his third consecutive game due to a head injury. Cosby scored a career-high 15 points on five made threes, including four in the second half to help Alabama pull away.

Next up for Alabama is a huge game against No. 4 Tennessee back at home, with the winner having sole control of first place in the league standings. College GameDay will be in attendance to build up to one of the biggest home games for Alabama basketball in a long time.
