Alabama basketball will play in the biggest game in conference play on Saturday, as it travels to Knoxville to take on the Tennessee Volunteers for their first of two meetings this season.

The Crimson Tide is riding a 6-game win streak into the game, including a 4-0 start in SEC play, while Tennessee sits at 3-1 in league play and ranks No. 6 in the current AP Poll.

While Alabama remains unranked, the metrics see these two teams as nearly equals. Alabama ranks No. 5 and Tennessee No. 6 in the NET, while Tennessee ranks No. 6 and Alabama No. 8 in KenPom.

A Crimson Tide win would keep it atop the SEC standings alongside fellow undefeated Auburn, and would bolster the resume with a signature win that would likely vault the team back into the national polls.
