2024 Alabama Football Schedule Revealed
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Are you excited yet?
Alabama is still chasing the national championship, but Wednesday night is a look into the future. The Crimson Tide and the other 13 schools in the Southeastern Conference welcome Texas and Oklahoma into the league in 2024-25.
The College Football Playoff is expanding from four to 12 teams beginning next season. There will be no more East and West divisions in the SEC. The college football you grew up with is changing. That starts with the SEC's unveiling of the 2024 football schedule, airing live on the SEC Network at 6 p.m. CT.
The top two teams in the league standings based on winning percentage will play in the SEC Football Championship Game in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on December 7.
2024 Alabama Football Schedule
- Aug. 31: vs. Western Kentucky
- Sept. 7: vs. USF
- Sept. 14: at Wisconsin
- Sept. 21: Bye
- Sept. 28: vs. Georgia
- Oct. 5: at Vanderbilt
- Oct. 12: vs. South Carolina
- Oct. 19: at Tennessee
- Oct. 26: vs. Missouri
- Nov. 2: Bye
- Nov. 9: at LSU
- Nov. 16: vs. Mercer
- Nov. 23: at Oklahoma
- Nov. 30: vs. Auburn
Let's face it — it's a tough schedule. The Crimson Tide has to travel to Madison to take on the Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium in Week 3. Alabama has to take on Georgia in the regular season. Road dates at Tennessee, LSU and Oklahoma will create a difficult October and November.
The good news? Alabama can probably suffer two losses and still have a chance at the national championship in the first year of the 12-team College Football Playoff.
