Alabama Lands 16 on Preseason All-SEC Teams

The Crimson Tide was tied with Georgia for the most overall selections highlighted by JC Latham, Dallas Turner, Kool-Aid McKinstry, Kneeland Hibbett and Will Reichard on the first team.

With SEC Media Days wrapping up Thursday afternoon, that means it's time for preseason predictions for the 2023 season Friday morning. 

Alabama was predicted to finish first in the SEC West, in large part due to all the talent on the roster. And given the amount of talent, the Crimson Tide was well represented on the Preseason All-SEC teams with 16 overall selections, tied with Georgia for the most. 

All three Alabama SEC Media Days representatives were on the first team with JC Latham at offensive line, Dallas Turner at linebacker and Kool-Aid McKinstry at defensive back and return specialist. Kicker Will Reichard and long snapper Kneeland Hibbett.

On the second team for the Crimson Tide, it was running back Jase McClellan, wide receiver Ja'Corey Brooks, offensive lineman Tyler Booker, center Seth McLaughlin, defensive linemen Jaheim Oatis and DL Justin Eboigbe and defensive back Malachi Moore. 

Wide receiver Jermaine Burton, defensive lineman Tim Smith and linebacker Chris Braswell were third team selections from Alabama.
