The Alabama football program sees its next transfer portal announcement on Wednesday morning as its players are in the midsts of making future plans.

Alabama junior tight end Miles Kitselman took to social media on Wednesday and announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal.

Kitselman came to Alabama by was of Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. He was originally an offensive and defensive lineman out of Lyndon High School in Kansas.

Alabama noticed Kitselman while scouting fellow Hutchinson CC Blue Dragon and now Crimson Tide teammate, Malik Benson.

He appeared in 18 games for the Crimson Tide across the last two seasons, largely as a rotational tight end and special teams player. The 6-foot-5, 250-pound tight end caught two passes for 18 yards in an Alabama uniform, both receptions were against the Utah State Aggies in a 55-0 win in 2022.

The true junior has just one year of eligibility remaining.

He becomes the Tide's seventh player to transfer out of the program in this offseason cycle, joining Anquin Barnes, Thaiu Jones-Bell, Ja'Corey Brooks, Tyler Buchner, Isaiah Hastings and Shazz Preston.

The Crimson Tide players have a five-day window to enter the transfer portal following the conclusion of their season on Monday, meaning more departures are likely on the way.

Despite the loss, Alabama returns a lot to its tight end room for the 2024 season, both CJ Dippre and Robbie Ouzts will be seniors while Amari NiBlack will be a junior. Additionally, underclassmen like Danny Lewis Jr. and Ty Lockwood will be pushing for more opportunities as well.
