Alabama Stuns Auburn In Last-Minute Iron Bowl Thriller
AUBURN, Ala. — The unbelievable happened in Jordan-Hare Stadium, again.
Once again, Alabama struggled with an inferior Auburn team, and once again, the Crimson Tide pulled off a miraculous victory.
After trailing 24-20 for much of the fourth quarter, Auburn muffed a punt to give Alabama the ball back. Alabama moved the ball down to 1st-and-GOAL, but a bad snap put the Crimson Tide way behind the chains.
Then, on fourth down from the 31-yard-line, quarterback Jalen Milroe connected with Isaiah Bond for the Alabama touchdown, giving the Crimson Tide the win.
Milroe completed 16-of-24 passes for 259 yards and two touchdowns in the game.
Alabama's season stays alive, and the Crimson Tide will face No. 1 Georgia next week in the SEC Championship Game.
