Denny Stadium

Before it was Bryant-Denny Stadium

Built in 1929 with 12,000 seats, what was originally called Denny Stadium was expanded over the years. The sketch from 1961 is when it was being increased from 29,000 to 43,000 seats with a new press box and elevator.

This postcard is after it was increased to 59,000 seats.
