The No. 8 Alabama Crimson Tide destroyed the Chattanooga Mocs 66-10 on Saturday in the penultimate game of the 2023 regular season. Alabama already knows it's qualified for the SEC Championship Game against the Georgia Bulldogs, but first they must take a trip to Lee County, Alabama to play the Auburn Tigers in the season finale.

The Crimson Tide did not move up in the AP Top 25 Poll or the US LBM Coaches Poll as no one ranked ahead of them lost. Alabama remains ranked No. 8 in both and will likely receive similar treatment during the Tuesday College Football Playoff Poll release.

The SEC holds on with six representatives in each poll despite the Tennessee Vols losing to Georgia this weekend and taking a slide in both polls.
