Nick Saban Provides Injury Update on Robinson, Prentice
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — One of the biggest fears when playing late-season games against teams like Chattanooga is sustaining injuries, and Alabama almost made it the full game without one.
With under 12 minutes left in the game, linebacker Quandarrius Robinson went down with an injury, and immediately went into the injury tent. He walked there under his own power, and seemed to favor his right arm. He did not return to the game.
"Que [Robinson] is fine, he just had a stinger," Alabama head coach Nick Saban said.
Additionally, wide receiver Kobe Prentice, Alabama's third-leading pass catcher, did not appear once throughout the game.
"Kobe Prentice strained his hamstring in practice this week, and probably could have played in the game," Saban said. "You always risk re-injury in those things, so hopefully in the next few days he gets his strength back up to where that's not a risk."
Alabama was also missing two starters on the defensive side of the ball in Jaylen Key and Deontae Lawson, who have both been out consecutive weeks.
The Crimson Tide hops to get its injured players back healthy this week ahead of a monumental two-game stretch to end the season against Auburn and Georgia.
