You've seen them in Aflac commercials. You may see them on the field coaching against each other before too long.

Deion Sanders' rise at Colorado has been nothing short of spectacular thus far, and it's only Week 3. The Buffaloes have tripled their win total from 2022-23, and after starting 3-0, have reached the two biggest games on their schedule coming up with Oregon and USC.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban talked about his relationship with Sanders during Wednesday's SEC teleconference.

"I have a tremendous amount of respect for Deion Sanders," Saban said. "First, he's a great person. And he's done a great job of marketing the program to create a lot of national interest. I see their team playing well on the field. They play with discipline. They do a good job of executing. They've been able to score points, play decent on defense. All those things to me are an indicator he's a really good coach. I've always thought that, and he's always been successful, whether it's Jackson State, high school or now Colorado. His teams have always been well-coached."

With the way things are trending, it may not be too long before the two square off against each other. Is there any chance Greg Byrne would make the call in a few years after Saban hangs it up? Time will tell.
