Photos from Alabama Football's Wednesday Practice
The Alabama football program worked through a Wednesday practice in shells on the Thomas-Drew Practice fields as the Tide's second fall camp scrimmage looms large on Saturday.
Luckily for the players, coaches and support staff members the Tuscaloosa temperatures hovered around a mild 86 degrees, a welcome change from the past week's brutal heat.

"You've got to get out of your comfort zone. Some people would say you've got to make sacrifices and do things so that you can improve," said Alabama head coach Nick Saban on Tuesday about the team's progress so far. "But the way I'd rather say it is you've got to invest in yourself in terms of doing the things that are going to help you on and off the field be the best player you can be. And the bottom line is just to ask yourself can your teammates trust you to do your job?"
The program is expected to have two more practices this week before its second and final scrimmage of fall camp on Saturday.
Select players will be made available to the media on Thursday and Saban will address the media again on Saturday after the closed scrimmage.
