Report: Alabama Offensive Coordinator Ryan Grubb A Candidate For NFL Job

After following Kalen DeBoer to Alabama, Grubb's stay in Tuscaloosa might not go as originally planned.

Less than a month ago, offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb followed newly-hired Alabama Football head coach Kalen DeBoer to Tuscaloosa following a stint at Washington. Now, the 47-year-old 2023 Broyles Award Finalist could be on his way out of town.

Per NFL Network's Mike Florio, Grubb could be joining new Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike MacDonald as offensive coordinator.

If Grubb is selected for the role in Seattle, he would move on from the Crimson Tide before fulfilling a month of action on the job.

Macdonald, who held his introductory presser as the new head coach of the Seahawks earlier today, is the youngest head coach in the NFL at age 36.

Grubb has no previous experience coaching in the NFL, but has prior stops at Fresno State, Eastern Michigan, Sioux Falls and South Dakota State — each under DeBoer's reign.
