Scenes from Alabama Football's Friday Practice
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Alabama Crimson Tide football team got in one final practice Friday afternoon ahead of the first fall scrimmage.
The team practiced in shells on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields. for approximately two hours with temperatures hovering in the low 90s in Tuscaloosa.
Head coach Nick Saban wants the players to be focusing on the little things this week as the team wraps up its first full week of fall camp.
"I think the number one thing we need to focus on is we have to increase the level of attention to detail [and] focus on every play so that we can play and not have penalties and missed assignments," Saban said after practice earlier this week. "Communication goes with that, I don't care whether you're playing the offensive line and have to make line call or you're playing secondary and make a coverage call so everybody's on the same page. You can anticipate things, play better and you can play faster, but I think sometimes when things get a little bit difficult, we lose our focus a little bit."
