SEC Football Silly Sound Montage: Week 4
We've combed through the tape and stitched together the meaningful portions of this past weekend's post game pontificating by several superstars in the coaching profession for the Week 4 edition of the SEC Silly Sound Montage.
Clichés and commonalities are celebrated here as all the coaches speak the same language, whether it's celebrating the crowd, loving their own players, getting back to work quickly or acknowledging that their team has room for improvement.
The head coaching stars on the Week 4's episode are Ole Miss's Lane Kiffin, Auburn's Hugh Freeze, Alabama's Nick Saban, Texas A&M's Jimbo Fisher, Missouri's Eli Drinkwitz, LSU's Brian Kelly, Kentucky's Mark Stoops, Vanderbilt's Clark Lea and Arkansas's Sam Pittman.
Fisher describes his blunder being caught on the field. Kiffin laments his missed opportunity. So many coaches complain about self-inflicted wounds and Stoops doesn't know how his team came out in the turnover battle, despite returning two interceptions for touchdowns.
What aspect of football tests Saban's patience? Drinkwitz details his team's theme song for their trip to St. Louis and they all join together to admit they must watch the film before rushing to judgement.
Every team is showing fight as we completed Week 4 while Kelly successfully identifies the game he just won as an SEC rivalry game.
We'll go back to the drawing board this week, review the tape and continue to get better and we'll have you covered with more silly sound as the SEC moves on into Week 5.
