Alabama and South Carolina haven't played since 2010 when the Gamecocks beat the top-ranked Crimson Tide in Columbia.

Overall, the two programs have met 15 times, with Alabama holding a 12-3 edge (10-4 due to vacated games and forfeits). 

Alabama won the first meeting in 1937, 20-0. The teams met once in Montgomery during the 1945 season, a 55-0 victory for the Crimson Tide. 

Alabama is 8-1 in the series in games played in Tuscaloosa, including the 35-14 victory in 1965. It's only 3-2 at Columbia.
