It's only fitting that the final SEC on CBS game will feature one of the biggest rivalries in sports.

The 2023 Iron Bowl featuring Alabama traveling to Auburn will air on CBS at 2:30 p.m. CT on Nov. 25.

This marks the ninth straight Iron Bowl on CBS, but it will be the last (at least for the foreseeable future) as the SEC's contract with CBS ends after this season.

Alabama has already wrapped up a spot in Atlanta as the SEC West champions, but will still be fighting for a spot in the College Football Playoffs during the trip to the Plains.

Both teams will be playing non-Power Five opponents the week before, and presumably riding on winning streaks. Alabama has won eight straight games dating back to mid-September. The Tigers have won their last three contests, all in the SEC.

The Crimson Tide leads the all-time series over the Tigers 49-37-1, winning the last three contests. However, during Saban's tenure in Tuscaloosa, Auburn has beaten Alabama more than any other opponent except LSU. Saban-coached Alabama teams have a 4-4 record in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Here is the full slate of SEC rivalry games on the final Saturday of the regular season:

  • Thursday, Nov. 23: Ole Miss at Mississippi State, 6:30 p.m., ESPN
  • Friday, Nov. 24: Missouri at Arkansas, 3 p.m., CBS
