TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Alabama Crimson Tide came into Week 8 as the No. 11 team in the AP Poll and the No. 8 team in the Coaches Poll.

The Crimson Tide defeated Tennessee 34-20 on Saturday afternoon after scoring 27 unanswered points in the second half.

Alabama's win over the Volunteers shot the Crimson Tide up two spots from No. 11 to No. 9 in the AP poll.
