Alabama had a rough weekend on the field after they lost to Texas 34-24 on their own field. Thankfully for Crimson Tide fans, they just received some good news: 2025 four-star defensive lineman Antonio Coleman has committed to Alabama. 

Coleman, a six-foot-two, 265-pound defensive lineman from Saraland, Alabama, joins the 2025 recruiting class for the Crimson Tide. Coleman is the second Saraland commit for 2025, joining five-star wide receiver Ryan Williams. Coleman is also the first defensive lineman commit in Alabama's 2025 class. He was offered by Alabama during their junior day on March 4 and made another visit to Tuscaloosa on June 26. 

During his sophomore season for the Saraland Spartans, Coleman had 69 total tackles, 20 tackles for loss, three-and-a-half sacks, 12 quarterback hurries, and one fumble recovery. through two games in his junior season, Coleman has 12 tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack, and one quarterback hurry. Coleman is ranked as a top 150 recruit, 11th at his position, and 11th in the state of Alabama according to 247 Sports. 

In an interview with On3 after his commitment, Coleman said, "Since I was a kid, I’ve always liked Alabama. I always said that since I was a kid, it would be my dream to play for Alabama. I feel like I’ve just got to fulfill my dreams at a nice program.”

Coleman is the defensive leader for Saraland, playing in all 14 games last season, and starting every game this season. The Spartans are the defending Alabama 6A state champions.
