Kobe Black

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect out of Connally High School in Waco, Texas, is ranked as the consensus No. 2 cornerback in the nation, the No. 3 junior in the state and the No. 14 player in his class, per On3 Recruiting.

Black's tape showcases every asset needed to become an elite cornerback.

The most important and basic part of the cornerback position is to stay with the receiver at all times. Man coverage is his best friend as double moves and speed control never fazes him throughout the route. Black excels in press or cushion when playing in man coverage as well.

Keeping the receiver near the sideline gives them a much smaller likelihood of making a catch. Black's ability to keep the receiver from getting inside leverage might be his most underrated asset.

Black's experience as a receiver on the other side of the ball, combined with his frame, gives him a large catch radius. This helps him intercept or break up high passes.

Jeremiah Beaman

The 6-foot-3, 255-pound prospect out of Parker High School in Birmingham, Ala., is ranked as the consensus No. 12 defensive lineman in the class, the No. 6 junior in the state and the No. 93 player in the class, per On3 Recruiting.

Defensive linemen are known for going into the trenches with interior lineman, with hopes to stop the run or reach the backfield. Beaman's tape showcases that, but also his expertise in batting the ball down. His athletic frame helps him leap to get interceptions as well. Simply put, his ability to punch the ball while in the trenches is comparable to former Auburn defensive tackle Derrick Brown.

Beaman is 70 pounds less than Brown, which adds tons of speed. Beaman often lines up as an edge rusher as well and tackles according to the textbook.
