Lockett Brings Friends from California Along to Visit Hogs Also

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Razorbacks hosted several prospects during the open scrimmage Saturday. 

Greenwood had a pair of visitors with the Archer brothers, 2025 linebacker Cash and 2026 quarterback Kane attending. Arkansas has interest in Cash, but has yet to offer. As for Kane, he’s a nationally sought after prospect with offers from Florida State, SMU, Michigan, Tennessee, Ole Miss and the Razorbacks.

2025 athlete Dreyden Garner recently named Arkansas in his top five schools including Colorado, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss and hometown San Diego State. He plays both ways for Lincoln High School, catching  87 passes for 1,879 yards (22 yards per catch) and 17 career touchdowns. Over the past two seasons, Garner has recorded 82 tackles, five interceptions and four pass break-ups.

Garner is the No. 325 prospect in the nation, per 247sports composite ranking. He ranks as the No. 15 athlete in the country and No. 30 player in California. He is friends with current Arkansas 2026 cornerback commit Tay Lockett. The 6-foot-1, 180 pound junior can play multiple positions on both sides of the football in college. He's also a two-sport athlete who runs track with a personal best 11.14 second 100 meter dash. 

Another 2025 two-way athlete, LaMason Waller, comes to town as a 4-star wide receiver. The 6-foot-2, 170 pound receiver/defensive back from Hesperia, California holds 44 offers with Colorado and Deion Sanders leading for his signature, per 247sports

Waller caught 64 passes for 1,057 yards and 15 touchdowns as a sophomore. He made 36 tackles and two interceptions on defense. The Razorbacks offered Waller on March 8.

He currently ranks as the No. 379 prospect in the nation, No. 52 at his position and No. 34 overall in California. 

Long Beach, California 2026 cornerback Deon Jackson is also along for the trip. He currently doesn’t have a ranking, but does have three offers from California, Washington State and UConn. The 6-foot, 180 pound sophomore recorded 30 tackles and five stops for loss. 

2026 St. Bosco defensive back Josh Holland will travel with teammate Tay Lockett for the scrimmage. The 6-foot-3, 175 pound sophomore already holds offers from Oklahoma, USC, Ole Miss and Washington. Holland recently visited Florida State for an unofficial last weekend. 

On3 ranks the California product with a 4-star ranking is currently the No. 276 prospect in the nation, No. 20 athlete and No. 29 player in the state.

Madison, Mississippi 4-star defensive lineman Reginald Vaughn made it to Fayetteville Friday for a two-day visit. Vaughn is a 2025 prospect and ranks No. 338 prospect in the nation and No. 40 lineman. 

Vaughan holds 14 offers, but has yet to receive one from Arkansas. Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Texas and Florida have already extended an offer to the 6-2, 257 pound lineman. 

2026 4-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo of Mansfield, Texas is attending the scrimmage. The 6-foot-7, 280 sophomore holds offers from Houston, SMU, Baylor, North Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas Tech, TCU and Texas State.
