FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Bryant 2026 3-star wide receiver Kamauri Austin visited the Razorbacks this weekend against LSU. He came away so impressed, he plans to return to town for the Texas game Nov. 16.

Arkansas fans have brought the heat this season inside Razorback Stadium and it's something many recruits have raved about. The 75,893 fans in attendance was No. 4 largest crowd in stadium history.

"One of the biggest things that stood out to me was the crowd, honestly," Austin said. "The atmosphere was amazing and loud. I think that's something that I would love to be a part of in the future.

"I love the receivers coach [Ronnie Fouch] and I love Coach Sam Pittman. They're both cool dudes. Pittman is a good guy and if he wants a player, he can get him 100%."

One vibe Austin gave off was his desire to play for Arkansas, which is similar to how high schoolers felt about playing for the Razorbacks 10 or more years ago. An offer was meant as an opportunity for highly recruited players or even young men not as touted to wear their state's name across the chest and the Razorback on the helmet.

"An offer from Arkansas would mean a lot," Austin said. "It's my dream Power Four school. It's only three hours away from me. Playing for my whole state, that's pretty cool to me, so I'm hoping I can get it."

Austin currently has one offer from Marshall which he earned the spring of his freshman year. Other FBS programs that have contacted him are Memphis and UAB.

As one of the heavyweights of the 7A conference, Bryant (7-0 overall) often relieves its starters at halftime which keeps its stars from padding stats. Austin has recorded 16 receptions for for 338 yards and nine touchdowns through six games.

The Hornets average 48 points per game and are beating teams by an average of 32 points. Bryant's dominance is no surprise considering it won five consecutive 7A state championships from 2018-22 including a major victory in 2020 over Trinity Christian and offensive coordinator Deion Sanders.

"Playing for Bryant is great," Austin said. "The coaches, they're great. They push you, they make you a better football player, but not just a better football player, but a man going into college or as a grown adult. Yeah, and they get onto you a lot and work us hard enough. So if you slacking, they'll get on to you."
