Hogs Named Finalist for 4-Star WR, Announcement Expected Soon
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas Razorbacks remain in play for another class of 2025 wide receiver with the pending decision of 4-star Cameron Sparks. He is expected to announce a commitment Jan. 11 when he plays in the Navy All-American Game, according to a report.
The 6-foot-3, 205 pound wideout will choose between Arkansas, Mississippi State and Virginia Tech. Sparks is a senior at Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee and received 21 scholarship offers including Auburn, Colorado, Georgia, Florida State, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Tennessee, Wisconsin and many others.
Sparks visited Arkansas Oct. 19 when the Razorbacks hosted LSU for a night conference game. He initially released a top-six list in February 2024 (Miami, Tennessee, Auburn, Florida State, Michigan and Georgia) but remained uncommitted, none of the three remaining programs included in his first announcement.
He is ranked as the No. 389 overall athlete nationally, No. 17 among athletes and No. 11 prospect from Tennessee. With the majority of 4-stars and top-400 prospects committed, Sparks is one of the top uncommitted players remaining.
Under first-year offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino, the Razorbacks were one of the most explosive units in college football this season averaging 456 yards of total offense which was good for No. 10 nationally. Arkansas produced 246 plays that exceeded 10 yards (No. 2), 76 that went for 20+ yards (No. 14) and one of six power conference programs with four or more plays of 70+ yards.
