FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas received a commitment from 2025 Marion offensive lineman Carius Curne. Right now he is the top-ranked recruit in the state and among the Top 20 offensive linemen in the country.

The 6-4, 301-pounder is the No. 175 prospect in the country for his class and No. 19 among linemen. Curne had 16 offers around the country from the likes of Ole Miss, LSU, Georgia, Missouri, Florida and Louisville. The Razorbacks were the first power conference program to offer the eastern Arkansas lineman.

Curne can play either side of the football and has the size to compete for playing time right away. His verbal follows a trip to Fayetteville for Junior Day on Jan. 27.

From a recruiting perspective, this could be a big win for Sam Pittman and the Razorbacks. His staff missed out on several instate prospects in 2024 to rival SEC schools. Courtney Crutchfield (Missouri), Walker White (Auburn) and Drake Lindsey (Minnesota) all chose to play their college ball out of state.

With the addition of Curne, the Razorbacks hold the No. 27 class, according to 247sports. 3-star quarterback Grayson Wilson (Central Arkansas Christian) plus the St. Louis duo of running back Jamarion Parker and kicker Evan Noel have been long standing commitments to this point. Arkansas has already lost one prospect in Bauxite safety Marcus Wimberly.
