Recruiting Rundown: Who Arkansas Has Offered This Week
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas sprinted into the 2025 recruiting cycle after signing four top-247 prospects for 2024. Arkansas currently holds pledges from three prospects including instate quarterback Grayson Wilson and 4-star tailback Jamarion Parker of St. Louis.
2026 recruiting got off to a lightning fast start with the addition of All-American commitments defensive back Tay Lockett and offensive lineman Bear McWhorter.
For Arkansas, it's been quite a week on the recruiting trail as the staff offers talented juniors and sophomores. North and central Texas is a renewed focus for the Razorbacks as they extended an offer to 2026 defensive back Jordan Deck out of Lonestar High School in Frisco, Texas. Lone Star is the same high school that produced true freshman Jaylon Braxton during the 2023 cycle.
The 6-3, 180 pound safety was a force this season recording 75 tackles, nine pass breakups and four interceptions. Deck held early offers from Houston, Baylor and SMU with Arkansas and Penn State getting in on his recruitment this week.
Panther Creek (Frisco, Texas) 2026 defensive back Donovan Webb received an Arkansas offer Monday. The Razorbacks were Webb's first Power Four offer. Since then, the 5-11, 170 defensive back has heard from Vanderbilt, North Texas, Texas Tech and Pitt this week.
The sophomore had a tremendous season for the young football program. Webb recorded 114 tackles, 10 pass breakups, four interceptions and one pick six. He tells allHogs that he wants to come for a visit and likes the coaching staff. Defensive backs coach Deron Wilson is his lead recruiter.
Mansfield Timberview 2025 safety Nathan Tilmon picked up an offer from Arkansas Tuesday. The 6-0, 180 pounder held offers from Baylor, Houston, Texas Tech and Utah before hearing from the Razorbacks.
2025 North Crowley linebacker Jonathan Cunningham is a 3-star linebacker from the Fort Worth side of the DFW Metroplex. Cunningham is the No. 458 ranked prospect in his class and is slotted as the No. 45 linebacker and No. 55 player in the state of Texas.
The 6-2, 190 pounder holds offers from the likes of Miami, Oklahoma State, Kansas, TCU and Utah.
2025 North Crowley defensive lineman Henry Fenuku was extended an Arkansas offer Tuesday along with Cunningham. The 6-5, 295 pounder has seen his recruiting take off since hearing from the Razorbacks. He has received scholarship offers from Houston, Oregon and Ole Miss.
Moody, Alabama 2025 safety Sidney Walton received an offer from the Razorbacks via Scott Fountain Tuesday. The 6-2, 190 pounder also holds offers from Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Kentucky and Ole Miss.
2025 edge rusher Grayshaun Swain is potentially one of the next big prospects to come out of the state of Alabama. The 6-3, 220 pounder holds offers from a host of SEC schools like Arkansas, Missouri, Auburn, Kentucky, Mississippi State and Ole Miss. ACC powers like Florida State and Louisville are in on the Huntsville native.
One of Kendal Briles' top targets in the 2024 recruiting cycle while at Arkansas was quarterback Michael Hawkins who is now with Oklahoma. His younger brother Maliek has been offered by the Razorbacks.
The 6-2, 180 pound defensive back also holds offers from Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi State and Indiana. Hawkins recorded 33 tackles and 4 pass breakups as a junior.
2026 defensive back Caleb Smith received an offer from the Razorbacks by co-defensive coordinator Marcus Woodson. The 5-9 160 pounder holds track speed with an 11-second 100-meter dash. He amassed 557 yards of offense as a sophomore and scored six touchdowns. Smith also holds offers from Liberty, Louisville, Nebraska and Memphis.
Coming off an exceptional junior campaign, Leo Almanza, Jr., received an offer from Arkansas this week. He recorded 38 tackles, four interceptions and a pick six during the 2023 season. The 6-0, 170 pound defensive back holds offers from Baylor, Cal and Texas Tech.
Deke Adams found a diamond in the state of Alabama this week in edge rusher Ba'Roc Willis, a member of the 2027 class at Moody. The 6-3, 220 pounder also holds offers from Alabama, Missouri and Auburn.
2026 North Crowley offensive lineman John Turntine was extended an offer from the Razorbacks by coaches Woodson and Eric Mateos. The 6-5, 275 pounder holds offers from Georgia, Baylor, Miami, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, SMU, Texas A&M and more.
One of the nation's top 2027 linebackers Braylon Williams earned an offer from Arkansas when coaches visited Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas Wednesday. The 6-0, 205 pounder recorded 89 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, three pass breakups and one sack. Williams also holds offers from Nebraska, Texas Tech and SMU.
On the latest allHogs podcast, we discussed Arkansas not having a presence in north Louisiana as in years past. It appears the Razorbacks will trek the region once again with Bobby Petrino's return. 2027 quarterback Peyton Houston attends Evangel Christian in Shreveport. Due to transferring from Calvary Christian, he won't be eligible to play until Week 3 this fall.
Houston already has an impressive early offer list which consists of Ole Miss, TCU, Texas A&M and Texas Tech. The 6-0, 190 pound dual threat is ranked as the top quarterback prospect in his class, per QBHitList
Another north Louisiana product in defensive lineman Brody Whatley earned an offer from the Razorbacks this week. The 6-5, 250 pounder from Neville High School in Monroe already holds 12 offers from the likes of Baylor, TCU and Missouri as a 2025 prospect.
2025 Shreveport offensive lineman Lionel Prudhomme received an offer from Eric Mateos and the Razorbacks. The 6-3, 300 pounder holds offers from Mississippi State, Texas Tech and Arizona State.
Lamar High School (Arlington, Texas) 2027 wide receiver Trenton Yancey received an offer from Woodson this week. The 6-0, 175 pounder amassed 1,000 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns during his first season at the varsity level. Baylor, Texas Tech and SMU are other notable early offers for the freshman.
